Harrah’s Casino is located on the Cherokee Indian reservation and is world reknown for gaming, but has been somewhat restricted due to the conservative laws in North Carolina. Harrah’s has the usual games such as slots, Black Jack and even craps tables, but it is all electronic. Alcohol is not served on the reservation and for those of you who find cigarette smoking offensive then you may have some issues with their liberal smoking policies. Smoking is allowed just about everywhere at Harrah’s.

Harrah’s is located just twenty minutes away from Settlers Mountain. There is plenty of parking in the main lot and they have a shuttle that drops you at the front doors of the Casino. They also have valet parking available.
